Tomorrow the rookies will hit the practice field.

The Houston Texans 2024 Rookie Minicamp begins at the Houston Methodist Training Center on Friday, and it'll be the first glance at the first-year players in Texans gear.

Here's another reminder about the schedule ahead for the rookies and veterans before they break in June.

Tight end Owen Daniels went through his rookie minicamp with DeMeco Ryans back in 2006. He wound up playing eight excellent seasons in Houston, and tacked on a year in Baltimore and a 2015 with the Broncos that saw him capture a Super Bowl title.

Daniels and former defensive lineman N.D. Kalu caught up with each other on "Texans OGs", and it was a fascinating conversation.

Elsewhere in the organization, congratulations to Zach Tarrant. He's the team photographer, and this awesome photo below of Will Anderson, Jr. in Week 1 at Baltimore was chosen as one of the best photos of the 2023 season.
