ABOUT CONVERSATIONS FOR CHANGE.The McNair family introduces a new video series titled,  "Conversations for Change," aimed to continue the dialogue about racism and social injustice. Led by Houston Texans Co-founder and Senior Chair  Janice McNair, Chairman and Chief Officer Cal McNair  and Houston Texans Foundation Vice President  Hannah McNair.

Mayor Sylvester Turner

Mayor of Houston, Texas

Mayor Sylvester Turner was elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 as the 62nd mayor of Houston. Mayor Turner is a life-long resident of Houston and lives in the Acres Homes community where he grew up with eight siblings. He is a graduate of the University of Houston and earned a law degree from Harvard University. He began his law practice at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. and later founded the Barnes & Turner Law Firm.

Roynell Young

Pro-Vision Academy Founder

Former Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback Roynell Young founded Pro-Vision Academy in 1990 as a way to help young students in Houston. Pro-Vision began as an afterschool program and has grown to a 3rd-12th grade state charter school with supplemental workforce and education programs to ensure college and career-readiness. Roynell Young has impacted more than 6,000 young people's lives in Houston.

Romeo Crennel

Associate Head Coach | 2014 - Present

The 2020 season will be Crennel's 38th year coaching in the NFL. He has been a part of 16 playoff appearances with 12 division crowns, six conference titles and has won five of the six Super Bowls he has appeared in (New York Giants – XXI and XXV, New England Patriots – XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX).

Travis Johnson

Defensive End | 2005-2011

Travis Johnson was drafted by the Houston Texans as the 16th overall selection in the 2005 NFL Draft. He was a starter for four season before being traded to his hometown team, the San Diego Chargers. During his career, he recorded 136 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 interception. Travis was an All-American at Florida State University.
