What if a Season Ticket Member would like to bring a guest to tailgate for a game?
We will make tailgate tickets available to season ticket members for $20 per ticket per game. There will be up to 4000 of these tickets available for each game on a first come, first serve basis. Each season ticket holder will only be able to acquire up to 10 tickets for any given game until the limit is reached.
Can a tailgate ticket be forwarded or reprinted?
No. These tailgate tickets cannot be forwarded or reprinted. They must be treated like cash and will not be replaced. If tailgate tickets are ordered on short notice, they will need to be picked up from Will Call located in Bud Light Plaza.
Will the Season Ticket Member be responsible for the actions of their tailgate ticket member?
Yes. The Season Ticket member who purchased the tailgate ticket will be held responsible for the actions of their guests. The season ticket member will have their name and account number printed on each tailgate guest ticket. If a disturbance occurs, the Season Ticket member will be subject to removal from the property, and possible revocation of their season ticket and/or parking pass.
Does this tailgate ticket entitle me to setup a tailgate in a parking space?
No. The tailgate ticket only allows you to remain on property without an accompanying game ticket. You will not be allowed to setup any materials or equipment in a parking space unless you have a parking pass. If you need to purchase a parking pass, please visit Ticketmaster.com.
Why do the Texans charge $15 for the tailgate ticket?
The Houston Texans have a set price for Season Tailgate Tickets at $15 each, per game to cover the additional expenses required to host extra patrons on property. The money provides additional security, facilities and parking personnel to manage the added patrons that will remain on property after all other game ticket members have gone inside the stadium. Tailgate Tickets can be purchased on an individual game basis for $20 each to Season Ticket Members only. Non-Season Ticket Members may not purchase Tailgate Tickets.
Is a parking pass by itself enough for a fan to come onto NRG Park grounds and tailgate with my friends?
No, you must possess a gameday ticket or a tailgate ticket in addition to the parking pass to enter and remain on NRG Park property.
Can I purchase Tailgate Tickets at one of the pedestrian access gates on gameday?
No, you will not be allowed to purchase a Tailgate Ticket on gameday at any of our pedestrian access gates.
