It's July, and football begins this month.

Two weeks from Thursday, the Texans start training camp at the Houston Methodist Training Center.

Two weeks after THAT, Houston plays the Bears in the first preseason game of the year. We've almost made it!

If you missed it Friday night on Texans All Access, a couple of former defensive ends got together and had themselves a fascinating chat. N.D. Kalu, who played the final three seasons of an 11-year career with the Texans huddled with Antonio Smith. Known as the "Ninja Assassin", Smith played 13 years in the NFL, including six really good ones here in Houston.
