- Texans senior defensive assistant/OLB coach John Pagano was Chargers' defensive coordinator for Addae's first four years in NFL
- Logged a combined 12 tackles in 2 career games vs. Texans
- Signed with Chargers in 2013 as an undrafted free agent
- Brother Jahmile is an assistant coach at alma mater West Virginia, in charge of the secondary
- Parents are from Ghana
- Born and raised just east of Tampa, FL, and attended Riverview High School
- Played soccer until his sophomore year of high school
- Went to Central Michigan as a running back, before switching to receiver and eventually defensive back
- Finished college career with 302 tackles, 15 TFL and 8 INT
