Tuesday at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, head coach Bill O'Brien announced offensive coordinator Tim Kelly will call the plays in 2020. It's the second season Kelly's held that position, but the first campaign in which he'll call the offense on gameday.
Here are a few more facts to know about Kelly.
1.     Kelly will be 34 years old at kickoff in Week 1. He was born August 17, 1986.
2.     He grew up in Chicago Heights, Illinois and played high school football there at Marian Catholic.
3.     Started 48 games on the defensive line at Eastern Illinois University from 2004-2007. He was a team captain his senior season.
4.     Spent 2008-2011 as an assistant at four different colleges: Illinois Wesleyan, Minnesota State Moorhead, Ball State and Penn State.
5.     Was a graduate assistant under O'Brien with the Nittany Lions, and has been his assistant for since 2012.
6.     Will coach the quarterbacks in 2020, in addition to serving as offensive coordinator.
7.     Brother Dennis is an offensive lineman with the Tennessee Titans. He's played 7 seasons in the NFL, and has caught 2 career touchdowns in the regular season and playoffs combined.
