Two more Texans were revealed in the NFL Network's 'NFL Top 100' countdown, as safety Ed Reed and wide receiver Andre Johnson checked in at spots 18 and 14, respectively.
As decided by their NFL peers, Reed and Johnson made the list and were showcased along with eight other players in the 11 to 20 rankings. Those ten were unveiled during an hour-long program Thursday night. The former University of Miami Hurricanes joined left tackle Duane Brown (48th) as the three Texans on the list. With ten spots left in the countdown, running back Arian Foster and defensive end J.J. Watt will likely join them.
Johnson finished 2012 with a career-best 1,598 receiving yards, helping the Texans capture their second straight AFC South title. Reed, who signed with Houston on March 22, picked off a team-best four passes for the Ravens en route to a Super Bowl title. He also started every game, and finished with 58 tackles. Combined, the two players have 21 seasons of experience and have been selected to 15 Pro Bowls.
Next Thursday at 7 p.m. CT, the 'NFL Top 100' countdown will continue on the NFL Network.
