Both Arian Foster and Brian Cushing are listed as probable for Thursday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts after a quick turnaround from Sunday's overtime loss at Dallas.
"Yeah, unless something happens between now and Thursday night," O'Brien said Tuesday when asked if the two starter would play in Week 6. "We go out there on Thursday in warmups, who knows, anything can happen. As we stand here today, it looks like those guys are good to go."
Cushing, Foster, and nine other players did not participate in Monday's walk-through. On Tuesday, Foster returned but was limited (hamstring) in Tuesday's walk-through practice. Cushing did not practice either day due to a knee issue.
Despite the short week, O'Brien expects his full arsenal of players to return for the Thursday night game against Indianapolis, the Texans first AFC South meeting of 2014. Only Jadeveon Clowney and cornerback Darryl Morris (ankle) have been officially ruled out.
"We just played a game, a very physical game in Dallas," O'Brien said. "We're going to turn around and play another very physical game on Thursday night. We have to make sure our players are fresh. As it looks right now, we'll have basically other than the guys that are on IR and things like that, we'll have a full complement of players on Thursday night."
The (3-2) Texans will host the (3-2) Indianapolis Colts for their Pink Ribbon Game on Thursday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:25 p.m. on CBS/ KHOU-11 and SportsRadio 610.
