Arian Foster misses practice with sore hamstring

Arian Foster did not practice Thursday, but is expected to start and play on Sunday afternoon at Kansas City.

"He has a sore hamstring from yesterday and he could have practiced, but we just held him out," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "He's really been a two-day-a-week practice guy anyways."

The official injury report listed Foster as having thumb and chest injuries in addition to the hamstring soreness Kubiak detailed. But when the Pro Bowler was asked whether or not he'd be

ready for Sunday, he didn't hesitate.

"No, I'm all right," Foster said.

Kubiak agreed, and said Foster would likely be back at the Houston Methodist Training Center practice fields on Friday.

"I don't have any big concerns," Kubiak said. "I expect him back out there tomorrow."

Foster gained 141 yards on 20 carries during Sunday's loss to Saint Louis. This season, he's rushed for a touchdown and caught another. ***Twitter.com/DoughertyDrew***
