The Houston Texans have a championship winner and adorable MVP in the house.
The doghouse, that is.
Texans pup, Kirby, was named MVP following his performance in the 18th annual Puppy Bowl featuring Team Fluff and Team Ruff.
Team Fluff defeated Team Ruff for the CHEWY "Lombarky" Trophy in Sunday's three-hour event that aired on Animal Planet and streamed on discovery+.
In his Puppy Bowl debut, Kirby was among the 118 adorable and adoptable puppies chasing each other and scoring touchdowns.
It was a star-studded event co-hosted by celebrities Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart, who also coached Team Fluff and Team Ruff, respectively.
The Puppy Bowl also aired a special feature on Kirby when he visited NRG Stadium for a service practice session with Texans DB Justin Reid.
Kirby, a male Labrador retriever, joined the Texans last July at 10 weeks old and was named by Texans fans through a voting contest. He is currently training to be a service dog in a partnership with America's Vet Dogs and Kroger. Once his training is complete, Kirby will be placed with a veteran or a first-responder with disabilities.
While two NFL teams compete in this year's Super Bowl, the Houston Texans and Kroger's very own Kirby will be competing in the 18th annual Puppy Bowl.
