After a Thursday off, the Texans are back at practice on Friday morning.
It's a soggy affair, as heavy rains pounded the area--again--in the 8 o'clock hour.
They'll go again tomorrow, have Sunday off, and then practice Monday and Tuesday before flying to Canton, Ohio on Wednesday for the Thursday-nighter versus the Bears in the Hall of Fame Game.
The Great Andre Johnson will get enshrined two days later, and as you'll see in this video below, his speech is ready.
Nico Collins caught 80 passes for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns last season. Johnson's career averages with the Texans were right around those numbers, as he was good for 84 catches for 1,137 yards and a little over 5 scores per season. If you take out his 2007 and 2011 campaigns, when injuries limited him to a combined 16 games, his averages jump to 92/1,225/5.
Either way, Collins put up Johnson-like numbers last year, and he's studied #80's body of work, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Alexander.
