This week is much quieter for the Texans than it was a year ago.
Sure, Houston made some news with the announcement of new Offensive Coordinator Nick Caley. The Rams Pass Game Coordinator/Tight Ends coach in 2024 will be the new guy in charge of the offense, and that's absolutely important news.
But in the 2024 run up to the Super Bowl, quarterback C.J. Stroud and defensive end Will Anderson, Jr. were named the NFL Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively. But the big news of the weekend for Texans fans was Andre Johnson getting elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was introduced along with the other six enshrinees last year at the NFL Honors night.
It was long overdue news, and the ensuing year that followed was fantastic.
J.J. Watt will sail into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028. The former Texan shared some happy news earlier this week about another new Watt on the way.
Have you seen the first Texans Mock Draft Roundup of 2025? The most-mocked player to Houston was Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker.
