Jadeveon Clowney and Johnathan Joseph made their way through a swarm of excited children from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston.
Carnival Cruise Line and the Houston Texans teamed up to host the first-ever Summer Kickoff, featuring face painting, custom Houston Texans Build-A-Bear stuffed animals, football drills and a special surprise to top it all off – a $10,000 check for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston.
"That's the main reasons that I'm still playing this game," Joseph said. "To come out for opportunities like this."
The kids had the opportunity to not only meet Clowney and Joseph, but they danced, played some football and got a true one-on-one experience with the two Texans.
"Anytime you have a chance to loosen up and do things like this, be around your peers, have fun and be part of a great cause is all good," Joseph said.
Carnival is the Official Cruise Line of the Houston Texans and the state's number one cruise operator with three ships sailing year-round from Galveston and carrying 650,000 passengers annually – the most in cruising.
