In late July, we wrote an article about the most-represented college on the Texans roster. Michigan State, with five players at that time, had more than any other college.
After the Texans pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday, two Spartans were cut. But there are still more Michigan State players on the squad than any other college.
Quarterback Brian Hoyer and receivers Keshawn Martin and Keith Mumphery all played collegiately in East Lansing, Michigan.Â
Six other schools have 2 former players on the Texans roster. Four of those schools are from the SEC, in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas A&M. UCLA and Wisconsin also have two players on the Texans.
