DeAndre Hopkins had yet another season filled with eye-popping catches in 2017. From his three touchdown performance in Week 5 against Kansas City to 224 yards receiving at Seattle or the touchdown catch of the year on Christmas Day against Pittsburgh, Hopkins had a highlight-reel worthy season.
It's no surprise that Hopkins earned a No. 13 ranking on the NFL Network's Top 100 list of 2017 on Monday night.
Despite four different Texans quarterbacks under center, Hopkins led the league in touchdown catches (13) and amassed 1,378 yards receiving with 96 receptions, averaging 14.4 yards a catch. Hopkins received First-Team All-Pro honors for the first time in his five-year career and was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl after his 2017 performance.
In a list voted on by peers, the NFL Network's Top 100 list revealed players 20 through 10 on Monday night. This is the second career appearance for Hopkins, who ranked No. 19 on the Top 100 Players of 2016. He is the fourth Texan to be revealed so far on this year's list (J.J. Watt – No. 84; Deshaun Watson – No. 50; and Jadeveon Clowney – No. 32).
The Top 100 Players of 2018 airs Monday at 7:00 PM Central on NFL Network, counting down the top players in the NFL as voted on by current NFL players.
