Running back Kenny Hilliard hasn't played a single game as a Texan, but he already has fond memories of NRG Stadium.
"The first game we played Wisconsin and that was a great game," Hilliard said Saturday. "We were down coming out of halftime, and we made some great plays and I was able to make some big runs. I remember just having a great game in that stadium, hopefully I can bring more being a Texan."
During the 2014 Advocare Texas Kickoff, LSU scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to give the Tigers a 28-24 win against the Badgers. Hilliard rushed for 110 yards, including a 28-yard run in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for LSU on August 30.
"I just got it on the line of scrimmage and then I found the crease and hit the hole and I scored," Hilliard said. "That touchdown right there just stuck with me in that stadium."
Hilliard (5-11, 226) was the Texans seventh-round draft pick, selected 235th overall. He is the second LSU running back selected in the past two drafts (Alfred Blue - 2014).
