It's July 10.
A month from today, the Texans will have just arrived home after spending three days in Richmond, Virginia.
They'll have completed a week of training camp, with three days worth of work versus Washington included. From Thursday August 6 to Saturday August 8, they'll practice with Washington, and will likely learn a whole lot more about the makeup of their team.
There's a very real chance head coach Bill O'Brien will have decided on either Ryan Mallett or Brian Hoyer as the starter at quarterback by this point. The first preseason game will be later that week, on Saturday the 15th at home versus the 49ers.Â
Three weeks from today, the Texans will report for training camp.
It's like the Tom Petty song said: "The waiting is the hardest part."
