With the preseason in the books it's time to take a quick look back at the Ultimate 11 plays of the preseason.
- John Simon's scoop and score against the 49ers. It was the first Texans score of the season and Simon's first professional TD.
- Jaelen Strong had a tremendous off-season and preseason and he capped it with a great back shoulder touchdown catch against the Arizona Cardinals.
- The coup de grace against the Dallas Cowboys. Antonio Allen's pick six salted away a Texans 28-17 win.
- On fourth and three against the Cardinals Brock Osweiler scrambled out of the pocket and found Braxton Miller for a key first down that helped lead the Texans to a win over the NFC champs.
- Man, it was great to see Jadeveon Clowney healthy in the preseason and his sack of Drew Brees makes the Ultimate 11.
- Rookie Shakeel Rashad finished the win over the Cardinals with an interception, his first as a Texan.
- The first offensive touchdown of the preseason came on a throw from Tom Savage to rookie tight end Stephen Anderson, who was making his first NFL appearance 10 miles from his hometown of San Jose, California.
- Akeem 'The dancing machine' Hunt powered one in against the Dallas Cowboys for the first of his two touchdowns in the last preseason game of 2016. All he did was carry 300 lb Lawrence Okoye three yards into the end zone on 4th and goal.
- Will Fuller's first touchdown of the preseason against the New Orleans Saints
- DeAndre Hopkins took a hit but delivered a strike to Keith Mumphery, who sprinted to the house for a 64 yard touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys.
- Pick six. John Simon tipped a Carson Palmer screen pass to himself, brought it in and ran to the house v. the Cardinals for the number one moment in the Texans 2016 preseason.
