In just seven games (and six starts) as a rookie in 2017, quarterback Deshaun Watson took the NFL by storm, throwing for 1,699 yards and a league-record 19 touchdowns while adding 269 yards and two scores on the ground before a knee injury cut his season short.
Heading into 2018, optimism is high, and not just in Houston.
Earlier this week, ESPN created its best under-25 starting lineup, a team featuring the league's best players under 25 years of age. The roster was voted on by 43 NFL insiders, including reporters, analysts and former players.
Watson was the overwhelming favorite at QB, collecting 65 percent of the votes.

Few quarterbacks have galvanized a franchise as expediently as Watson did the Texans in 2017. Watson, 22, has exceptional football IQ and character to lead teammates paired with unique arm talent (particularly in the vertical passing game) and dynamic athletic ability.
If last season was any indication, Watson will provide a lot of excitement for years to come.
