If there's such a thing as "draft hangover", I have it.
The Cause: Houston Texans No.1 overall pick fever.
Duration: Approximately four months.
Symptoms: Headache, watery eyes, drowsiness, extreme anticipation of 2014 season and an inclination to avoid saying, typing, or hearing the word 'draft' for a while.
Despite all that, and against Doctor's orders, here we are with our first 2015 NFL Mock Draft Survey. If you somehow (miraculously, might I add) didn't get enough draft coverage over the past few months, don't worry.
We are starting this one early.
Very, very early.
Even the analysts admit that it's a bit premature to map out next year's draft before all of the current draftees have signed with their respective teams. Some outlets used the 2014 draft order. Others channeled Nostradamus and predicted where each of the 32 squads will land without a single down of football played. Impressive.
It's ridiculous. You should be incredulous. But at the same time, it's awfully fascinating.
Happy reading!
P.S. We took Clowney.
