C.J. Fiedorowicz was back on the practice field Wednesday, and could play Sunday against the Giants.
The tight end missed practice last week, as well as the win at Oakland with a foot injury. But he was back to work in a limited role, and head coach Bill O'Brien said there's a good chance the Texans will get the rookie back in the game on Sunday.
"Looks like we probably will," O'Brien said.
The head coach did, however, offer up a caveat.
"I would put that under the day-to-day category, too," O'Brien said. "What goes on out there today could definitely change tomorrow. But he looked okay today."
Fiedorowicz played in the Week 1 victory over Washington. He was the first pick of the third round after a collegiate career at Iowa.
