Once again, mother nature smiled on Reliant Stadium as tailgaters were treated to perfect weather prior to Sunday's regular season home opener. Fans lined up early for the 8 a.m. opening of the Jiffy Lube parking lots and quickly filled the open spaces to form the tailgating community that has become customary at Reliant Stadium. Sunday's festivities are just another example of why Houston continues to make its mark as one of the best cities in the NFL for tailgating.
The Houston Texans Tailgate Crew was, once again, out in the parking lots on
their Segway HTs, drumming up support for the Texans and searching for the HEB
Tailgater of the Game. This week's HEB Tailgater of the Game was the Raging Bull
Tailgaters. They were tailgating in the Jiffy Lube red parking lot and prepared
stuffed jalapeno peppers as their pre-game appetizer.
