The Texans debuted the cover of the 2009 Houston Texans Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar on Wednesday with Erica revealing her cover shot.
The calendar photo shoots took place in and around Reliant Stadium. Erica's cover photo was taken on the field at Reliant Stadium the morning before the Texans' preseason game against the Denver Broncos.
"I'm here on the field and there are other shots around the stadium, in the locker room and in the suites," Erica said. "We got to take our beautiful stadium and take shots in it, which is a little bit different than being on the beach but I thought it was an amazing idea. And they became so creative with these shots."
{QUOTE}The remainder of the calendar will be unveiled at the Cheerleaders’ Bulls & Birdies golf tournament on Wednesday, October 22. The golf tournament will be played at The Traditions Course at Cypresswoods Golf Club.
The 2009 Houston Texans Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar will go on sale on Thursday, Oct. 23 at all Houston-area Academy Sports Outdoors location, at the Texans Pro Shop at The Woodlands Mall, the Go Texans Store in Reliant Stadium and online at www.HoustonTexans.com and are priced at $10.
A portion of the net proceeds will benefit the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center and the Houston Texans Foundation. Prior to the start of tryouts for this year's squad, the Cheerleaders presented a check for $50,000 to the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center from the sales of the inaugural swimsuit calendar last year.
"Unless you see it, it's a hard to believe you are on the cover," Erica said. "I am thrilled and I'm honored."
