Cushing, Clowney "have a shot to play"

For the first time since Week 1, it looks like Brian Cushing and Jadeveon Clowney will be on the field together.

Both linebackers missed the last game against Philadelphia, and Cushing was also out at Tennessee in Week 8. Cushing missed the last two contests with a knee injury. Clowney left in the first half of Week 1, and missed the next six games with a knee injury. But they'll likely suit up on Sunday against the Browns.

"It looks good that they would have a shot to play on Sunday," head coach Bill O'Brien said.

Both were limited in practice Wednesday, but O'Brien was encouraged by what he saw.

"I thought they moved around pretty well," O'Brien said. "I still would put them in that day-to-day category. We'll see how they feel in the morning, but it looked decent, that's for sure."

On Tuesday the Texans waived veteran linebacker Zac Diles. Undrafted rookie Max Bullough, who spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the practice squad, took Diles' roster spot on Wednesday.
