Tight end Owen Daniels led the Texans with seven catches for 123 yards and a touchdown yesterday. He's **playing at an elite level** and leads all NFL tight ends with 497 receiving yards.
The football-watching world is taking notice. Said Deion Sanders of Daniels yesterday on NFL Network: "He should be mentioned with the top tight ends in the game."
Sanders also put Daniels, a 2008 Pro Bowler, at the No. 9 spot in his **Top 10 plays** of the week.
And this from Scouts Inc.'s Matt Williamson on ESPN.com: "Owen Daniels is playing **as well as any tight end in the NFL** right now and was simply terrific Sunday.... Few tight ends are so capable with such a diverse route tree or with his ability to stretch the field and make plays after the catch."
