In his first start since Week 8, rookie Davis Mills throws a touchdown pass on the Houston Texans' opening drive against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14.
Mills, named the starter by Head Coach David Culley on Friday, led a seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive that lasted 3:58 on the opening series. The Texans offense converted four first downs, with Mills throwing a 17-yard pass to WR Davion Davis on third down and a 13-yard toss to Chris Conley. A 30-yard deep ball caught by Nico Collins set up first-and-goal for Houston at Seattle's five-yard line. On the next play, Mills found TE Brevin Jordan in the end zone for a touchdown. Houston took a 7-0 lead with 11:09 left in the first quarter.
Mills completed 5-of-5 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown for a perfect 158.3 passer rating after the opening drive of the Week 14 matchup against Seattle.
