Day 2 of the draft is underway. The New York Jets continued to have an aggressive draft, trading up for the first pick of the third round to nab Iowa running back Shonn Greene, who could have been a possible target for the Texans in this round. The Jets, whom the Texans will play in Week 1 of the 2009 season, traded up from the 17th to the fifth pick in the first round to take USC quarterback Mark Sanchez.
The Dallas Cowboys just made their first pick of the 2009 draft, selecting Western Illinois linebacker Jason Williams. The Texans' next selection at No. 77 is seven picks away.
