With his second touchdown of the game, DeSean Jackson might have dealt a blow to Texans quarterback Matt Schaub's Pro Bowl MVP hopes. Less than a minute into the second half, Jacson scored on a 58-yard pass from his Eagles teammate, Donovan McNabb. Jackson also scored a seven-yard touchdown in the second quarter and now has a game-high four catches for 84 yards.
Schaub threw for 119 yards and two touchdowns in two series in the first half, but he hasn't been in the game since. Jaguars quarterback David Garrard, the AFC's third quarterback, just trotted on the field with the offense to start the second half. Let's see if Schaub might get some more playing time later in the second half.
As I was typing this blog entry, the AFC tied the game at 24 with a 48-yard touchdown pass from Garrard to San Diego Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson.
