A Houston Texans football autographed by Mario Williams is up for grabs this week.
One hundred forty-seven…that was the number to beat this week as "Game Over" was the only coach to score that many points and therefore win Week 8 of Houston Texans Fantasy Football. "Game Over" didn't have one player score under 10 points as he got help from his QB Derek Anderson (27 pts), his WR Braylon Edwards (23 pts) and his RB Brian Westbrook (20 pts) and used his superior football knowledge to pick the rest of a winning team. "Game Over" will now get an Anthony Weaver autographed mini-helmet.

After weeks of bickering in the locker room, off-the-field turmoil and trade rumors circulating around the league, Nate Griffin's "Sugar Land Road Dawgs" finally got their act together as they won Week 8 of the Houston Texans Fantasy Football Celebrity League. Even when all signs around the league pointed to QBs Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Big Ben Roethlisberger, Nate went with a wild card as he signed QB Derek Anderson this week. It paid off as Anderson scored 27 points along with RB Joseph Addai getting 28 points and his WR Braylon Edwards accounting for 23 points.
The press huddled around Coach Griffin Tuesday morning to question his decision to start Anderson over the other powerhouse QBs in the NFL.
"After talking this over with my good friend 'Mikey the Microphone,' we decided that Anderson was the way to go," Griffin said. "Mikey just knows his football."
Let's see if Mikey can get Nate back in the race for an overall bid at the championship through the rest of the season. Lance Cavazos' "Dunder Mifflin" finished second with 108 points and Adam's "Wexler's Warriors" finished third with 103 points.
As always, it just takes one week for something crazy to happen. That happened this past week with Patti Smith (59 pts), but she still holds the lead on all contenders. The Houston Texans Fantasy Football Celebrity League top three overall standings are:

- Lance Cavazos (Dunder Mifflin) – 852 points
- Matt Jackson (The Champs) – 847 points
