Focusing on the Bears, a position switch and some deep dives | Daily Brew

Game week preparations continue for the Texans as they get set for Sunday Night Football and the Chicago Bears.

The visitors came back from a double-digit deficit Sunday to beat the Titans at Soldier Field. They have the first overall pick in quarterback Caleb Williams.

Remember: if you're coming to the game, please wear white, please get to your seats well ahead of quick off, and please be loud while the defense is on the field.

Team Analyst/Radio Sideline Reporter John Harris dove deep into the Bears and broke down his thoughts in this "Know Your Foe".

There were plenty of fan questions this week, and I answered a few of them here. David Saenz's question was so good, he won Texas Lottery Scratchoffs. You could be next! If you want to get a question in next week's mailbag, click HERE.

John McClain has covered the NFL since the 1970's and he's now writing for us here at HoustonTexans.com. He has a couple of pieces you need to review. THIS ONE about Joe Mixon and the run game's impact, and THIS ONE about explosive plays.

Tight end Cade Stover was in the mix at fullback last weekend. Playing, and excelling, at a new position is nothing new to Stover, who bounced from offense to defense and back again while he was at Ohio State.

The Athletic has a longer piece about C.J. Stroud and the Texans having Super Bowl aspirations, which you can read about here.
