Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, and Brian Cushing will start on Thursday night against Indianapolis.
Due to the short week coming of Sunday's overtime loss at Dallas, a number of players did not practice in this week's walk-throughs, including eleven on Monday.
"It's a fine line though because as a coach you always want the guys to have a little bit of speed work during the week even though it's a short week," head coach Bill O'Brien said Tuesday. "We really can't do that this week. In my mind, what we're trying to do is make sure we use the phrase, let's get him to the gate. Let's get him to the gate fresh and ready to go and with a good amount of rest and mental work. That's what we're doing and hopefully the guys are used to it. The guys, the veteran players are used to that type of management."
Andre Johnson was listed as questionable with an ankle issue on the team injury report. Foster was limited due to a hamstring but both he and Cushing were probable heading into Thursday night's game.
