Heading to Ohio...& Andre Johnson memory lane | Daily Brew

The Texans are headed to Ohio.

First, they'll practice on Tuesday at the Houston Methodist Training Center. But on Wednesday afternoon, they'll fly to Cleveland and then play the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football in the Hall of Fame Game. On Saturday, they'll attend Andre Johnson's enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and then spend next week practicing in the Cleveland area. They'll cap it all off with a Friday-nighter at the Steelers, and then arrive home in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Longtime NFL Columnist and Pro Football Hall of Fame writer John McClain reflected on Johnson in this memory lane piece.

Yesterday was a HOT one at Texans Training Camp. Team Analyst/Radio Sideline Reporter John Harris had 31 notes about the practice in his "Harris Hits" article.

I answered a few questions--including ones about pressure, the punt returners and some wide receivers--in "Fans Wanna Know".

Cornerback Derek Stingley, Jr. has been a ball hawk throughout camp, and has routinely made big plays. Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle chatted with him about expectations for 2024.
