Historically vs. Jacksonville... | Daily Brew

It's a Tuesday off for the Texans, and the rest of the NFL, and they'll hit the practice fields at the Houston Methodist Training Center tomorrow. The Jaguars, who lost last night in Buffalo, are in town on Sunday at noon for the Week 4 matchup.

In 2010, the Texans went to Jacksonville in Week 10. At that point, the all-time series between the two franchises was tied at 8-8. Houston lost that day on a Hail Mary, and the Jaguars led the series, 9-8.

Since then, the Texans have dominated the Jaguars. They peeled off five straight wins, lost both games in 2013, then went on a 6-game win streak from 2014-2016. The Jaguars won both 2017 contests, then Houston went on a 9-game win streak. Altogether, the Texans are 29-15 in their history against Jacksonville.

Head Coach DeMeco Ryans was on the radio last night with Texans Voice Marc Vandermeer and Team Analyst/Sideline Reporter John Harris, and they covered quite a bit. You can check it below.
