DeAndre Hopkins is not only one of the best athletes in the world, he is also one of the most stylish according to Sports Illustrated. In the latest issue, SI selected the Texans All-Pro wide receiver among the 50 most fashionable sports icons.
The third annual Fashionable 50 list was decided by a panel of stylists, fashion editors and executives and other influencers in the industry.
New York Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr. was named Most Fashionable Athlete of 2018. The Fashionable 50 included stars like Lebron James and Serena and Venus Williams. Houston Rockets players James Harden, Chris Paul, and P.J. Tucker also made the list.
Hopkins, now in his sixth season with the Texans, says he finds inspiration for his style everywhere.
“Probably not famous people. There's a guy named Chelsea Raveinero from Charleston that makes his own clothing brand. And Pharrell is someone that I look up to, just because he is different and he always does collabs with other brands and none of them look the same. It is always unique and everything he does has a message to it, which is more important than just being fashionable.” -Hopkins
