Hot practices, hot takes about the Texans | Daily Brew

The Texans have another hot one on deck for Wednesday.

Yesterday, they practiced outside from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Houston Methodist Training Center. It was two hours later than the normal 9 a.m. slots with which they'd begun training camp.

The Texans practice again tomorrow and will host the Giants on Saturday at noon in the preseason home opener at NRG Stadium.

Our guy John Harris is a Team Analyst/Radio Sideline Reporter, and his 25 notes from yesterday's practice included a slew of juicy tidbits, including the biggest collision of camp thusfar.

If you've read any "Harris Hits" over the last month, you're no stranger to defensive lineman Mario Edwards, Jr. He's routinely shown up in those articles as someone who's making plays and turning heads in training camp. He's looked good in preseason action as well. The Houston Chronicle's Jon Poorman wrote about Edwards here.

The Athletic has an article ranking the Top Players Under the Age of 25. QB C.J. Stroud and DE Will Anderson, Jr. made the rankings. I believe they're ranked too low.
