HOUSTON** – Ticket prices to Houston Texans games in 2014 will remain the same as they were for the 2013 season, the team announced today. It marks the first time since 2011 the average price of a ticket to a Texans game has held from one year to the next.
The Texans' average general ticket price will be $86.39 per ticket, which ranked 12th in the NFL in 2013.
Houston plays three 2013 division winners at Reliant Stadium during the 2014 regular season; NFC East Division champion Philadelphia (10-6), AFC North Division winner Cincinnati (11-5) and AFC South Division rival Indianapolis (11-5). The Texans will also square off against AFC South foes Jacksonville (4-12) and Tennessee (7-9), as well as Baltimore (8-8), Buffalo (6-10) and Washington (3-13) at Reliant Stadium in the 2014 season.
The Houston Texans have sold out 122 consecutive games at Reliant Stadium, a Houston NFL record; and their 12 consecutive sold-out seasons represent the longest sellout streak of any professional sports team in Houston history. Reliant Stadium has been consistently recognized for having the best tailgating atmosphere in the NFL.
