J.J. Watt was not on the practice field Monday with the Houston Texans.
The team worked outside at the Houston Methdodist Training Center after getting off days on Saturday and Sunday. Head coach Bill O'Brien said Watt had a day off.
Watt tallied a pair of tackles on Thursday night in the loss at New England. The 3-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year has 1.5 sacks and eight tackles in 2016.
The Texans will practice again on Thursday and Friday, and they'll host the Titans on Sunday at NRG Stadium. Kickoff is at noon CT.
