J.J. Watt makes Texans history...again

J.J. Watt set another franchise record early in the Texans Monday night matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With 2:29 remaining in the first quarter, Watt recovered a fumble following a strip sack, making him the all-time franchise leader with nine fumble recoveries.

Following his sack on Ben Roethlisberger, Whitney Mercilus forced the first turnover of the game. Watt recovered the fumble, giving Houston possession at the Pittsburgh 46-yard line.

Watt entered the game tied with DeMeco Ryans, who had eight fumble recoveries during his six seasons (2006-2011) as a Texan. Watt also currently leads the NFL with three fumble recoveries through Week 7.

The turnover was Houston's 15th takeaway of the season and ninth fumble recovery.
