J.J. Watt, the 2014 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, now has the hardware to prove it.
Watt, who became the only player in NFL history to notch 20 sacks in multiple seasons, took to Instagram last night to unveil the trophy he received for winning the league's top defensive honor. The fourth-year pro out of Wisconsin thanked all of his defensive teammates for their contributions in the post.
The defensive end notched 78 tackles and 10 passes defensed to go along with his 20 sacks. Watt became the first defensive lineman since 1944 to have at least five touchdowns in a season.
