Joe Mixon rumbled into the end zone in the third quarter to give the Texans a third quarter lead at Jacksonville.
Mixon ran for his 11th rushing score of the season when he dashed seven yards to the left side and cross the goal line. On the play before, he galloped 30 yards to the left side to get the Texans offense into the red zone. His touchdown run capped a 5-play, 70-yard drive that lasted 2:02.
Ka'imi Fairbairn's extra point gave Houston a 13-6 lead with 8:04 left in the third quarter.
Mixon, at that point, had 11 carries for 59 yards, and a pair of catches for 13 yards.
