Wide receiver Andre Johnson now leads the league with 1,237 receiving yards after a huge game (11 catches, 193 receiving yards, two touchdowns) against the Seahawks. Johnson is 79 yards ahead of the Patriots' Wes Welker, who has 1,158 in 11 games.
Johnson ranks seventh in the league in receptions with 81. Welker (105) has a big lead on the rest of the pack, but Johnson is just six catches out of second place (Reggie Wayne, 87). He's tied for ninth with eight touchdown catches, only two off the league lead of 10.
Quarterback Matt Schaub, who completed 29 passes for 365 yards and two touchdowns yesterday, is near the top of the league in most passing categories.
Schaub ranks fourth in the NFL with 3,814 passing yards. That's just 18 yards behind Drew Brees (3,832) for second, and 89 yards behind Peyton Manning (3,905) for first. He also has 24 passing touchdowns (fifth), 324 completions (second), 473 attempts (third) and a 98.2 passer rating (sixth).
On the defensive side, rookie linebacker Brian Cushing ranks sixth in the NFL (first in the AFC) with 112 tackles. DeMeco Ryans has 98 tackles, which ranks 12th in the NFL (sixth in the AFC). With four sacks in his last three games, defensive end Mario Williams is now tied for 13th in the league with eight sacks.
