The Texans have to trim their roster from 75 players to 53 by Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
Some players who don't make the final cut could re-surface on the Texans' practice squad. Running back Arian Foster and defensive ends Jesse Nading and Tim Jamison were on the practice squad in 2009 after being released in the final round of cuts. All three wound up on the Texans' active roster.
