Lamar Miller left Monday night's game against the Broncos multiple times with an undisclosed injury, only to return each time. Head coach Bill O'Brien announced that Miller's status would be day-to-day, heading into Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions.
"Yeah, I think he's doing better today," O'Brien said Tuesday. "He'd definitely be in the day-to-day category, though. With the short week here, we'll have to see how he is. But I give the guy a lot of credit. He's a tough guy. He's a pro football player. He really came back and kept wanting to play, and I think that's good. And I thought (Alfred) Blue, other than the fumble, I thought Blue ran the ball hard, too."
The Texans starting running back finished with 11 carries for 61 yards. In his relief, Alfred Blue added 63 yards on the ground in the 27-9 loss in Denver.
