The media buzz leading up to the draft is that the Texans are expected to take a running back or cornerback with the 20th overall pick tonight.
Judging by mock drafts around the web, the heavy favorite to be the Texans' first-round pick is running back Ryan Mathews of Fresno State. In a survey of 20 mocks, including our own on HoustonTexans.com, Mathews went to the Texans a whopping 13 times.
The only other prospects picked for the Texans: Boise State cornerback Kyle Wilson (five times) and Clemson running back C.J. Spiller (twice).
