The Texans have released linebacker Buster Davis from their practice squad, the team announced today. Davis was a third-round draft pick from Florida State by the Arizona Cardinals in 2007. He spent the 2008 season with the Indianapolis Colts, appearing in six games and starting three, and was signed by the Texans in April.
The middle linebacker was let go by the Texans during final roster cuts on Sept. 5 and was signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
