How long have you been coaching? Where did your career begin? College\university you attended?
- I have been Coaching for 25 years. I began my coaching career at Canutillo HS in the El Paso area. I graduated from college from UTEP
Why do you coach?
- I coach to impact as many lives as I can. I believe I have positive things to give to today's youth, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to do so every day.
What is the most rewarding\fulfilling part of your job?
- I am most fulfilled seeing athletes make positive contributions in society with athletic experiences acting as a catalyst in this process.
In your opinion, what is the most misunderstood thing about the coaching profession?
- In coaching the biggest misconception is that we don't have much to do all day.
Please share the importance of what your staff/ players are doing for your community?
- We are creating pathways with our feeder patterns to create a connection between the two. Our Raider days as we call them are set to get underway.
