  • Brooks, selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round (79th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft, has recorded 79 tackles (61 solo), two tackles for loss, nine quarterback hits, four interceptions, 11 passes defensed and one fumble recovery through 94 career games. On special teams, he has two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
  • He has played two seasons with the Ravens (2014-15), one with the Eagles (2016), two with the New York Jets (2017-18) and two with the New England Patriots (2019-20).
  • Brooks played four seasons (2010-13) at Florida State University. After spending most of his freshman year on special teams, Brooks helped lead the Seminoles to the 2013 BCS National Championship title as a senior.
  • As part of a Florida State defense that ranked No. 1 in the nation, Brooks started all 13 games his senior year and recorded 56 tackles and two interceptions, earning him First-Team All-American honors.
  • In his free time, Brooks is an avid photographer.
  • With the Eagles in 2016, Brooks recorded his first career interception when he picked off New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning in the Eagles' 24-19 win.
  • He and linebacker Jordan Jenkins played together for his two seasons with the Jets.
  • As a member of the Jets in 2017, Brooks had a two-interception game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. Brooks picked off punter Matt Haack's pass following a fake punt. Then late in the fourth quarter, Brooks intercepted Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler. He earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance.
  • This season, Brooks reunites with another former teammate in wide receiver Andre Roberts, who spent the 2017 season together with the N.Y. Jets.
