Meet the Rookie: WR Keke Coutee
-Full name: Key'vantanie Coutee
-Hometown: Lufkin, Texas
-5-10, 180 pounds
-Fourth Round, 3rd pick (103rd overall)
-Nicknamed "Keke" from his mother because most people couldn't pronounce his full name
-It's pronounced Kee-VAN-tuh-nee
-Named three-time receiver of the year at Lufkin High School
-Played three seasons at Texas Tech (2015-17), including two with Patrick Mahomes II at QB
-Finished second all-time at Tech in receiving yards, trailing only Michael Crabtree's total from the 2007 season.
-Named 2017 All-Big 12 first team by Pro Football Focus and second-team honoree by conference coaches and the Associated Press
-Led the Red Raiders and was among the national leaders with 1,429 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 2017
-On special teams, Coutee returned 10 kickoffs for 315 yards and a touchdown in 2017
-As a junior, scored the longest touchdown of his career against the University of Houston, a 77-yarder to give Tech a 20-10 lead late in the third quarter on the road.
