Mexico returns to Reliant

HOUSTON-- Lone Star Sports & Entertainment, in conjunction with Soccer United Marketing, has announced that Reliant Stadium will host the national teams of Mexico and Bulgaria on Wednesday, Nov. 16, as part of the 2005 Coca-Cola Presents Real Mexican Soccer Tour presented by Budweiser.

The match willl celebrate Mexico's recent qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Mexico qualified Wednesday with a 5-0 win over Panama. Bulgaria, coached by former national team and Major League Soccer star Hristo Stoitchkov, currently stands fourth in its World Cup qualifying group.

Mexico and Bulgaria have met 11 times, the last a friendly at Giants Stadium in 2002.

Kickoff for the match will be 8 p.m. Tickets for the match range from $20 to $50. Tickets will go on sale through Tickermaster starting Sept. 23. Fans can also cal 1-866-GO-TEXANS for ticket information.
