On November 28, as the Texans took on the Jets, the organization honored active and retired military members throughout pregame and in-game, offering fans the opportunity to do so, too. Through out the week, USAA, the Texans, coaches and players took part in multiple events thanking active and retired military members for their selfless service to our country.
During pregame, USAA helped recognize military members during an important part of the game, the coin toss. This week, the coin used during the coin toss was a special Military Challenge Coin, a Coin traditionally used in the Armed Forces to recognize achievement and performance.
This coin was created by USAA specifically for Texans Week 12 game against the Jets.
